New Official Website
Not only has GamesCom brought about the announcement of the R.U.S.E Beta, it has also been the perfect reason to launch a new official website.

 

"We have been trying to design the site as the best place to find all R.U.S.E. related info, exclusive videos and interviews, as well as articles on military deception and deception in general. We included some sharing, rating and comments options that we trust you will use to make this website the place for discussing and sharing ideas about R.U.S.E."

Some fabulous news just in, Ubisoft is giving away a limited number of R.U.S.E beta keys. The beta will feature an extended preview of the multiplayer mode and will be available later this year. So head over there RIGHT NOW, sign-up and cross your fingers!

R.U.S.E - The WWII Setting
Today Ubisoft brings up a new video with Senior Producer Mathieu Girard and Creative Director Alexis Le Dressay. Both discuss the reasoning behind choosing the WWII setting for the game. Some gameplay is also shown. "Our approach to other WWII games is different, we are going to create history within history"

R.U.S.E E3 Round-Up
Now that E3 is over, we thought we would summarize all the R.U.S.E news and content that came out of the event.

 

The first day of E3 saw the release of a number of new screenshots, artwork and “ID/Did you know cards”. Following this, two game play videos were released giving over eight minutes of game paly. The videos showed a number of deception skills, played on the Tunisia map.

 

Perhaps what caught the press’s attention the most was how cool the game looked when demonstrated on the Microsoft Surface touch-table. Kotaku described it as “The Most Technically Impressive Thing I've Seen All Week”. You can view some footage here.
